Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas this year! The twins were so fun and excited and it was by far their favorite Christmas!

Carter was so excited on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that he hardly would eat anything throughout the day! He was so into playing and opening his gifts, he didn't make time to eat. Well, I lied, he did make time to eat......at MIDNIGHT! For the past two nights, he has said, "Mommy, I'm starving!" He says this as I am putting him to bed very late on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Of course, I would NEVER deny my boy food, especially when He tells ME he is hungry..... Music to my Ears! :) This is Carter enjoying a midnight snack on Christmas Eve!

Carter and Addison's Christmas crafts from school! We used the Christmas Counter-downers each day to countdown to Christmas!

Playing with one of their gifts from Mamaw and Papaw on Christmas Eve....their new art/lego table! It flips, one side is for legos, the other side for art crafts! Thanks Mamaw and Papaw!

So excited on Christmas Eve at Mamaw and Papaw's house! They thought they were so cool in their Christmas jammies!

Getting ready to open up presents that Santa left at Mamaw and Papaw's house on Christmas Eve!

So silly!

With their favorite people!

Hard to get a serious picture of both of them, they were way too excited! This was Christmas Eve, before they changed into their Christmas jammies!

Our family on Christmas Day

All of us on Christmas Day! Even Mamaw-Mamaw was allowed to come over for a couple of hours to visit and eat with us! She had a great night on Christmas with all of us!

Christmas day at our house, getting ready to go visit daddy's grandpa and grandma, their great-grandparents

Christmas day, Carter wouldn't put these 3 new blue trains down! His favorite gift!

Breakfast on Christmas morning!

They ate breakfast after they opened all of their toys!

Playing with their favorite present, TOY TRAINS, during breakfast

Carter and Addy opening up their presents Christmas morning

They woke up at 10 and were super excited to go see what Santa brought them!

Santa brought addison: ariel and belle dress up costumes, ariel, belle, and cinderella dolls, Beauty and the Beast movie, a belle big baby doll, princess books, princess coloring books and crayons, markers, a princess hair assessories kit that includes a real hair dryer, curling iron, flat iron, fake hair spray, and a brush, new hair clips, toy trains, toy story 3 movie, thomas the train stuff

Carter was super excited about his gifts and his facial expressions and squeals showed it! Addison is just like I was as a kid, I would be super excited about something, but would show no emotion! No smiles, or anything, but was excited! That's addison too!

Santa brought Carter: a green garbage truck, a tractor trailor car carrier semi thing, rescue airplanes, rescue helicopters, a digger thing, a football uniform, Harold the Helicopter, Thomas the train stuff, new toy trains, coloring books, books, thomas movie, bob the builder movie, dinosaurs, v-tech and leap frog tag reader books, legos

Carter excited to open his dinosaurs! Love his face!

They pretty much got everything they asked for, which wasn't much! All Carter specifically wanted was a green garbage truck and new toy trains for his train table. All Addison wanted was ariel and belle princess stuff! They were easy to please!

mommy, we are sick of pictures, just let us open up our presents please!

But guys, you are growing up so fast on mommy so just smile for me! Please?

Okay, here's a tiny smile from us mommy, now let us open up our presents already!

You gotta be kiddin me, she's taking another picture..............

Addison, this will go much quicker if you just smile for mom like me.

We made them count to ten and then they could come down the hall and into the family room to see what Santa had brought them. This was Carter running down the hall so excited!

This is where I made them stand and count to 10 and then they could come see what Santa brought them! They were so excited!

Wake up addy bug! It's 10:00 on Christmas morning! Let's go see what Santa brought you! You must have been a really good girl because there's a lot of stuff out there!

Carter on Christmas morning, just waking up! All smiles!
We had a great Christmas! I can't believe it's over, but it is! Even the twins keep saying, "Christmas is over Mommy." All of our decorations, inside and outside, have been taken down and put away, so Christmas is really over! Boo! It does feel nice to have more room in the great room without the tree, and to have my "normal" house back! Oh well! Here's off to a great new year in 2011!
